A project to predict the number of calls received by SEM-061 for medical emergencies is crucial to improve resource management, optimise waiting times and ensure immediate and quality care. Anticipating peak demand times will provide SEM with a support tool to assess more efficient resource distribution. Predicting these calls thus becomes a key tool to ensure that the public get the care they need at critical times.
Implementing this project bolsters SEM’s response to emergencies while also laying the foundations for future technological innovations in health services in Catalonia.
