This project aims to co-design, develop and validate a proof of concept of a conversational assistant based on generative AI, designed to offer psychological first aid in traumatic situations and natural disasters.
Initially, the solution was conceived as a complementary tool to professional psychosocial support teams, especially in scenarios where human attention channels may be overwhelmed or when certain groups opt for digital channels.
However, the development of the project has opened up new avenues of application, especially in the field of education and training of professionals who intervene directly with people affected by emergencies.
