This project has helped to digitally transform smart mobility, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data analysis to achieve two specific goals with a direct impact on society. The first goal is to improve road safety and reduce the number of accidents by identifying dangerous situations for both vehicles and pedestrians in urban and interurban scenarios. The second goal targets traffic flow analysis, making it possible to pinpoint traffic congestion and other related situations which in turn can lead to efficient traffic management policies.
