The project has addressed two distinct use cases within the agricultural sector. On the one hand, the need to expand knowledge on the application of antibiotics in livestock farms by the Animal Feed and Livestock Production Safety Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya was the origin of the first use case focused on applying decision support tools in the application of antibiotics in livestock farms. Secondly, a series of meetings with sectoral agents from the lands of Lleida led to a collaboration with the Center for Pig Studies to develop artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms for monitoring the life cycle of pigs to improve animal welfare.
