Artificial intelligence (AI) and data-based technologies are becoming key tools to optimise production processes, improve decision-making and lessen environmental impact. These technologies enable the implementation of Industry 4.0 by supporting production digitalisation, automation and customisation.
The purpose of this white paper is to set out the main results of the analysis of the application of AI in the industrial sector in Catalonia. The study has been conducted to encourage the uptake of these technologies in manufacturing, logistics and other strategic areas with a view to increasing competitiveness and ensuring sustainable growth.
