GovTech Catalunya, a new innovation programme for smarter digital administration

GovTech Catalunya is the Catalan Government’s digital innovation programme that connects start-ups with public administrations to transform services and processes.

In this session, we will explore the concept of GovTech ecosystems and find out how Catalan public administration is leveraging these partnerships to embrace innovative digital solutions and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

We will also learn at first-hand about the main AI projects rolled out by the CTTI as part of this new innovation programme.

Director of Innovation, Centre for Telecommunications and Information Technologies (CTTI), Government of Catalonia

Dani is an electronic engineer with an MBA from Esade and is currently Director of Innovation at the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Government of Catalonia where he has held various posts over the last seventeen years, including Director General of Innovation and Digital Economy, Director of SmartCatalonia, Director of the Digital Agenda of Catalonia and Head of Business Digitalisation and Promotion of the ICT sector.

He previously worked in the private sector in positions of responsibility mainly in strategic and technological consultancy.
