{"id":11014,"date":"2026-05-04T16:50:02","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T14:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cidai.eu\/?post_type=esdeveniment&#038;p=11014"},"modified":"2026-06-29T16:57:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T14:57:58","slug":"impact-project-presentation-conversational-assistant-for-psychosocial-support-in-emergency-situations","status":"publish","type":"esdeveniment","link":"https:\/\/cidai.eu\/en\/events\/impact-project-presentation-conversational-assistant-for-psychosocial-support-in-emergency-situations\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact Project Presentation: &#8220;Conversational assistant for psychosocial support in emergency situations&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Center for Innovation in Intelligence and Data Technology (CIDAI)<\/strong> organizes the presentation of the results of a high-impact project developed by <strong>Eurecat<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Red Cross,<\/strong> focused on the application of artificial intelligence in emergency and crisis contexts.<\/p>\n<p>This project aims to <strong>co-design, develop and validate a proof of concept of a conversational assistant based on generative AI<\/strong>, designed to\u00a0<strong>offer psychological first aid<\/strong>\u00a0in traumatic situations and natural disasters.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the solution was conceived as a\u00a0<strong>complementary tool to professional psychosocial support teams<\/strong>, especially in scenarios where human attention channels may be overwhelmed or when certain groups opt for digital channels.<\/p>\n<p>However, the development of the project has opened up\u00a0<strong>new avenues of application<\/strong>, especially in the field of\u00a0<strong>education and training of professionals<\/strong>\u00a0who intervene directly with people affected by emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the project, the phases, experience, protocols, and resources specific to psychosocial intervention have been integrated into the system to <strong>guarantee a safe, structured interaction aligned with professional standards, ethics, and the principles of emergency intervention<\/strong>.
